Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Part-time Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Dedicated Oncology Unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. New graduate RNs are welcome to apply. BSN/MSN preferred, RN license required, and BLS within 90 days. Oncologic nursing certification within 6 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Students currently completing an accredited nursing program are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide chemo and other treatments on the Oncology 6 RP Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support cancer care.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care on an IMC/unit setting.
