Job summary

The role supports both inpatient and outpatient dispensing under state and federal regulations. Preference is given to candidates with 3–5 years of active pharmacy experience and Indiana pharmacist licensure; will consider those with less experience.

Qualifications

• Good written and oral communication skills and math ability.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to patient outcomes through safe, rational and cost-effective use of drugs and resources in a hospital setting.
• Provide drug information to medical, nursing, and ancillary staff.
• Supervise pharmacy technical staff and oversee sterile parenteral preparation using aseptic technique.
• Distribute medications for hospitalized and outpatient use in compliance with state and federal laws.
