Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. (Anna Jacques Hospital affiliate) seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for oncology/hematology patients under supervision of a board-certified oncologist/hematologist.
The role includes education, counseling, and survivorship planning. Active MA NP/PA license, BLS/ACLS, MA APRN/PA authorization, MA DPH-DCP prescriptive authority, Federal DEA for APRN, ONS
Qualifications
- Must have an active MA NP or PA license.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- MA board authorization to practice as an APRN or PA.
- Prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA for APRN.
- Current ONS Chemotherapy Card.
- OCN certification within one year of employment.
- Oncology/hematology experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for oncology and hematology patients under supervision of a board-certified oncologist/hematologist.
- Educate, counsel and support patients throughout treatment and survivorship.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement an individualized plan of care with faculty and nursing staff.
