Job summary

Novant Health Cancer Institute seeks a physician leader to join as Market Leader for Oncology/Hematology in Winston-Salem, NC and the surrounding region. The role combines administrative and clinical duties, overseeing 50+ providers across nine clinics and collaborating with hospital leadership to drive quality, safety, patient experience, and growth.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology with at least five years as a physician leader is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
• The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience as a physician leader and continued formal development as a leader is encouraged while in this role.

Responsibilities

• This role will involve administrative (.5 FTE) and clinical (.5 FTE) duties.
• Our leader would be responsible for the quality/safety/patient experience/financial/growth/strategy objectives of the market while working with an administrative dyad partner.
• Lead a group of 50+ providers at 9 clinic locations and collaborates with the market leadership and administration of 5 hospitals in the region.
