Job summary

Physicians East, P.A. in Greenville, NC is seeking an RN I Supervisor to oversee Hematology/Oncology nursing care in our clinic. You will supervise clinical staff, coordinate patient care plans, and ensure adherence to policy and quality standards.

The role requires a nursing degree, NC licensure, EMR proficiency, and strong communication. Full-time daytime schedule with occasional overtime as patient needs arise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must be registered with NCBON in good standing.
• Experience with EMR/HER software.
• Professional demeanor and privacy awareness.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to actively listen.
• Ability to draft clear, grammatically correct English.
• Ability to spell, proofread and edit written text.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care per established clinical practices.
• Support physicians and RNs during visits and procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures and patient care.
• Take and record vital signs accurately.
• Document medications, allergies, labs, and PCP information in the EMR.
• Administer medications under physician supervision.
• Manage exam rooms and clinic supplies and orders.
• Notify patients of lab results and coordinate follow-ups.
• Coordinate referrals to other departments as needed.
• Precept new hires and attest to competencies of staff.
