Job summary

AdventHealth East Orlando is seeking an APRN or PA-C to provide care for hematology/oncology outpatients under physician supervision. The role includes orders/tests, monitoring treatment, and collaborating with the care team.

The position requires a Florida APRN or PA license, appropriate national certification, and BLS/ACLS. Weekend/on-call duties may be required, with cross-campus coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) studies.
• Current Florida APRN or PA license.
• ANCC, AANP (or equivalent) or NCCPA certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ONS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and management of hematology/oncology outpatients.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests (laboratory, X-ray, etc.).
• Monitors treatment course and refers to physicians/specialists as needed.
• Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff to ensure consistent patient care.
