We are excited to announce that we are looking for an Oncology Health Information Technology Specialist to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives across several regions, making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Oncology Health Information Technology Specialist

The primary focus of this role will be to ensure that the brand is seamlessly incorporated into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems at prioritized accounts. This is a commercial non-sales role responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive, customer-specific plans and working collaboratively with the broader Matrix team of Marketing, Access, Sales, Medical, & HEOR.

Responsibilities include:

1. Align resources to develop comprehensive plans by priority account.
2. Conduct needs assessments with identified customers to address Health Information Technology gaps.
3. Develop and implement customer-specific plans.
4. Act as a matrix team HIT Health IT subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Identify and share Health IT insights with relevant stakeholders (Marketing/Access/Sales).
6. Assist customers in optimizing EHR systems to address patient safety gaps, especially in Oncology.

Requirements:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience working with healthcare technology companies (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson, iKnowMed, OncoEMR) or within a healthcare informatics leadership role, or similar within a pharmaceutical company.
• Preferably, 3+ years of clinical Hematology and/or Oncology experience.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare, health information technology, and EHR systems.
• Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude, adaptable, and flexible.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $47,500 to $118,800 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors. Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may also be offered.
