Job summary

Servier in Boston is seeking a talented bioinformatics Scientist to join the Data Science team. You will perform NGS data analysis and interpretation for multiple oncology programs, shaping study design and communicating results to teams and external partners.

The role requires a PhD with 5+ years in drug discovery or translational settings; you will drive projects by translating analyses into biological insights and hypotheses, with in-person collaboration in Boston 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Biology, Statistics, or related field with relevant experience.
• Publication track record translating bioinformatics into insights.
• Experience processing RNA/DNA sequencing data and methylation data.
• Strong programming in R, Python, SQL; Unix and cluster computing.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and interpret genomic studies in Oncology programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate results into insights.
• Develop analysis workflows (WDL/CWL/Nextflow) and visualize data.
• Deliver scientific presentations and publications.
• Identify novel cancer targets and patient selection hypotheses.
