QUEST DIAGNOSTICS INC is looking for a motivated NGS data analytic scientist to support Oncology Assay Development. This role involves bioinformatic analysis, pipeline development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive product development.

Experience in bioinformatics and genomics is essential, along with a relevant master's or Ph.D. This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite at the Lewisville, TX facility.

Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience in data science/bioinformatics.
Experience with oncology genomics and somatic variant analysis.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Perform bioinformatic analysis of genomics data.
Curate and analyze complex genomics datasets.
Design, develop and deploy bioinformatics pipelines.
Monitor and improve sequence analysis workflows.

Skills

Scripting languages (Python, R)

NGS data processing and QC

Next-generation sequencing data analysis

Education

Master’s degree or Ph.D. in relevant field
