Role Summary
You will provide therapeutic area/product expertise for the Thoracic Oncology Team across a broad range of Medical customer segments and initiatives in the territory (New England).
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory, coordinating with Pfizer colleagues to achieve Medical objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines, providing information to stakeholders as needed.
- Serve as a resource for Medical Information and customer insights, sharing information with HCPs and Pfizer as appropriate.
- Contribute to Medical content strategy development and execute Field Medical tactics aligned with Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and Field Medical teams.
- Demonstrate expertise in communication across multiple channels, including presentations, written communication, and virtual conversations.
- Optimize patient centricity in Medical communications, incorporating Health Literacy and cultural awareness principles.
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant topics.
- Identify and engage priority customer segments in the Therapeutic Area.
- Provide truthful, accurate, and scientifically supported information in response to medical requests, complying with Pfizer guidelines.
- Lead advisory boards and manage inbound queries from HCPs.
- Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and other teams on clinical trial site identification and support Investigator Sponsored Research.
- Develop therapeutic and research expertise, staying updated with latest congress data and literature.
- Provide Asset leadership and understand study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Exhibit strong territory leadership and communicate effectively with Patient Advocacy Groups and professional associations.
- Participate in special projects and serve on cross-functional committees as appropriate.
- Mentor onboarding partners, ad boards, and study leads.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science required.
- PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal degree preferred.
- Relevant experience: PharmD/PhD with 6+ years, MBA/MSc with 8+ years, BA/BSc with 10+ years.
- Recognized subject matter expert with excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple demands constructively.

- Willingness to travel 60-80%, operate a Pfizer company car, and attend meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SOPs, regulations, and previous Field Medical experience.

Compensation
Base salary ranges from $169,700 to $282,900, with bonus and long-term incentives. Benefits include 401(k), health coverage, paid leave, and more. Relocation assistance may be available.
