Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC seeks a Nurse Educator to design, maintain, and deliver clinical education for oncology staff. You will plan, direct, and evaluate education programs such as chemotherapy biotherapy courses and NCCN-aligned content, ensuring standardization across clinics.

You will partner with nursing leadership to ensure competency, participate in orientation for new hires, and provide direct patient care at least one day per month to stay clinically

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida (or eligible)
• OCN certification or within 12 months of hire
• BSN degree preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid Florida driver's license for travel to clinics

Responsibilities

• Assess onboarding program effectiveness with nursing leadership
• Develop education strategies to align with care models
• Support annual competency evaluations and skills checkoffs
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff
• Mentor preceptors and align training across clinics
• Attend meetings and conferences to stay current with policies
