Qualifications

• CPT requirements must be communicated at time of application.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college program for duration of internship.
• Must not graduate before, during, or after the internship start/end date.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 across all coursework.
• Pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct benchtop experiments to evaluate drug-device products under R&D guidance.
• Support development and preparation of placebo formulations for device testing.
• Evaluate material properties to simulate drug product behavior in testing.
• Perform mechanical testing and data interpretation to relate materials to device performance.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and document methods and results.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to support product development activities.
