Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values to others.
• Track laboratory, medications, and radiology tests ordered by the physician.
• Gather data for physician review (labs, radiology reports, medical records).
• Coordinate communication between physicians and staff; handle calls.
• Document consultations with patient’s doctors or other clinicians.
• Take vital signs and room patients as needed; assist rounds.
• Provide patients with updates about waits and delays.
• Document all procedures and diagnoses, treatment plans and follow-ups.
