Job summary

Labcorp invites motivated students to join the 2027 Global Internship Program as a Data Science Intern on the Oncology Team in Baltimore, MD. This 11-week paid internship requires full-time commitment and offers exposure to bioinformatics pipelines, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within Labcorp’s global enterprise.

Interns will gain hands-on experience, assist in genomics data interpretation, and participate in mentoring, leadership sessions, and professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree program in Life Sciences, Data Science, Bioinformatics or Computer Science.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program.
• Interest in oncology, genomics, data science and/or bioinformatics.

Responsibilities

• Support development and evaluation of bioinformatics pipelines and internal tooling
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Learn development processes in an agile setting
• Familiarize yourself with genomics results and aid in harmonization of genomic results for precision oncology products
