Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a RCM QA Coding Specialist to perform quality reviews of onshore and offshore billers and coders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations while sharing findings with OneOncology and partner practices.

You will develop educational materials, provide training to coders based on review outcomes, and present reports to RCM leadership and Compliance, collaborating with risk management to drive improvements in coding accuracy and auditing

Qualifications

• CPC or other coding certification required.
• CPMA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of medical coding auditing experience required.
• Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology coding experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality reviews of onshore and offshore billers and coders for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare detailed audit reports for RCM leadership and partner practices.
• Conduct focused reviews aligned with the OIG Strategic Plan as needed.
• Perform pre-bill, performance improvement, and coder quality reviews with education.
• Analyze data, prepare dashboards, and present findings to leadership.
• Develop educational materials and training based on review outcomes.
• Stay informed on current billing and coding regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with leadership, compliance, and risk management to ensure regulatory compliance.
