Texas Oncology in Plano West is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (8:30am–5:00pm). Position supports clinical workflows, patient care, and coordination of exams and procedures under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a CMA certification or current study track, 0–3 years of related experience, and the ability to perform clinic support tasks and maintain patient records. PT benefits and LTIP considerations may apply.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Accredited Medical Assistant program certificate preferred.
• Entry level with 0–3 years experience as medical assistant or nursing assistant.
• Current BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record patient data including vitals and allergies.
• Obtain patient records as required by physicians.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and order supplies.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Administer injections as delegated by RN or physician.
• Maintain room disinfection protocols.
• Answer patient calls and coordinate referrals.
• Phone in prescriptions and communicate with providers.
