Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for its Oncology clinic in Burr Ridge to join a patient-centered team. The role focuses on direct patient care within an ambulatory setting, coordinating pre/intra/post visit activities, and supporting the physician throughout the patient visit.

The position is full-time with five 8-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required within six months of hire from recognized certifying bodies (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA).
• CPR/BLS certification by American Heart Association – upon hire.
• Minimum: One year of Medical Assistant experience or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; ambulatory/oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and supports the physician throughout the visit from arrival to checkout.
• Administers medications as directed and coordinates care with other health professionals.
• Performs duties including registration, scheduling, and patient communication under licensed supervision.
