Job summary

AdventHealth Castle Rock AHMG Hematology & Oncology is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support daily clinic operations at 2360 Meadows Blvd, Suite 300. You will assist physicians, perform vital signs, document patient history, and prepare exam rooms to ensure timely visits.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of related experience, and current BLS plus CMA/CMAC or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Vital signs and body substance isolation are required.
• 2+ years of related work experience is required.
• BLS CPR certification and CMA/CMAC/ARMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors physician schedules and organizes patient care to ensure timely visits.
• Rooms patients, takes vital signs, documents patient history and allergies.
• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures, maintaining open communication for quality care.
• Administers medications independently and maintains competency through evaluations and quizzes.
• Audits ordered tests to ensure timely receipt and follow-up of results.
• Provides direct patient care and leads front-line staff in day-to-day clinical operations.
• Delegates duties to office staff and ensures adherence to clinic standards.
