Job description

The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) serves as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of cancer care. This RN is knowledgeable on the multiple treatment decisions, strong emotions and financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. Primary goals of this position are to: 1) enable patients with information and education thus reducing a portion of the stress involved in a cancer diagnosis, 2) empower the patient to participate in their personal care process, 3) improve understanding of their decisions and treatment plans; and 4) complete the treatment though the point of survivorship planning (when applicable).Join our team at Providence Oregon Regional Shared Services and thrive in our culture of patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
