Providence Oregon City is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our oncology clinic/infusion team. The RN provides professional nursing care, starting with a preceptor and taking on increasing responsibilities to deliver coordinated, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families.

The role requires an Oregon RN license and BLS certification, is part-time, daytime hours, on-site at 1500 Division St, Oregon City.

Qualifications

• Oregon RN license required at hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required at hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred; encouraged to obtain within 3 years of hire.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an oncology clinic or infusion center environment. Working with a preceptor initially and assuming increasing responsibility, the RN 1 is accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence‑based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Key functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific checklist an in standards that are applicable to the specialty.
