Job summary

The University of Minnesota, through the Masonic Cancer Center’s Clinical Trials Office (CTO), seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator Manager to oversee the CRC team and implement optimization initiatives in Minnesota. This role emphasizes leadership across disease groups, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Hybrid work available; salary range $95,000–$110,000 depending on education and experience, with a civil-service/non-faculty represented staff appointment. Background check required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Undergraduate degree plus a minimum of 6 years of clinical research coordination experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in an environment of rapid change.
• English fluency (read/write/speak).
• 2 years experience managing staff.

Responsibilities

• CRC Management: lead and supervise CTO CRC team and balance workload across disease groups.
• Performance Management: lead quality improvement and ensure protocol compliance and documentation standards.
• People Management: recruit, develop, evaluate staff and create clear promotion pathways.
• Risk Mitigation & Compliance: ensure regulatory compliance and conduct audits.
• Quality Assurance: maintain policies and support audits by regulators.
