Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Research Study Coordinator to coordinate, establish, and supervise complex oncology trials at MUSC Orangeburg and Charleston, supporting NCI, investigator-initiated, and industry-sponsored studies.

The role actively promotes the clinical trial program across community sites, manages patient eligibility and enrollment, and ensures timely data entry in CTMS and EPIC, as well as regulatory reporting of adverse events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant program experience.
• Experience coordinating complex research protocols and data systems.
• Experience with EPIC, CTMS, and data management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient research activities to meet protocol requirements and manage eligibility and follow-up.
• Assist investigators to identify, consent, screen, and enroll eligible patients.
• Collect and submit data to NCI, sponsors, and MUSC with high accuracy.
• Submit adverse events and regulatory reports in a timely, compliant manner.
• Maintain knowledge of regional trial portfolio and support startup activities.
