The Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa is seeking a Clinical Trials Research Associate to coordinate oncology study activities, data collection, and documentation within the Clinical Trials Research team. The role interfaces with multiple departments to ensure protocol adherence and high-quality data management.

Responsibilities include database maintenance, patient coordination, consent processes, and collaboration with the University Clinical Trials Office.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with experience in a research setting.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with medical terminology and regulatory guidelines a plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate clinical oncology study activities and assist in data collection and entry.
• Maintain and populate multiple databases with clinical and research information in compliance with IRB requirements.
• Assist in design, development, and administration of data gathering for clinical trials.
• Liaise with clinicians and external stakeholders to convey study objectives and requirements.
• Screen, recruit, enroll, and schedule subjects; obtain informed consent and educate participants.
