Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Denver seeks an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator/RN to join our oncology research team. The role focuses on screening for protocol eligibility, coordinating patient care, and ensuring strict data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice required; ACLS/BCLS certifications.
• SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens potential patients for protocol eligibility and informs patients about trials, enrolling eligible patients.
• Coordinate patient care per protocol; may disburse investigational drug and provide patient education.
• Maintain data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting; support monitoring and auditing activities.
• Maintain regulatory documents per SOPs and applicable regulations.
• Educate clinic staff on clinical research and participate in required trainings.
• Collaborate with Research Site Leader in study selection and potentially work with other sites.
• Identify quality and performance improvements and develop action plans with staff.
• Prepare and report protocol activity, accrual data, and research financial information.
• Coordinate physician orders to ensure protocol compliance; communicate study requirements and adverse events.
• Ensure a safe environment and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
