Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Pueblo, CO is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator or Registered Nurse to join our oncology research team. You will screen patients, obtain informed consent, enroll on protocols, manage data, and collaborate with physicians to ensure protocol compliance.

The role requires oncology or clinical research experience, nursing licensure, and certification in GCP/ACRP/SoCRA preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a clinical or scientific field.
• Minimum five years in clinical/scientific field, preferably oncology.
• SoCRA/ACRP certification preferred; nursing track with RN licensure and ACLS/BLCS may apply.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential patients for protocol eligibility and enroll eligible patients.
• Coordinate patient care per protocol requirements; maintain investigational drug accountability and educate patients.
• Responsible for accurate data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting; participate in monitoring and auditing activities.
• Maintain regulatory documents per USOR SOP and applicable regulations.
• Educate clinic staff on clinical research and participate in required training.
• Collaborate with Research Site Leader on study selection; may work with other sites or sponsors.
• Identify quality improvements and help develop action plans to improve care and protocol adherence.
• Prepare reports on protocol activity and research finance as needed; communicate with physicians about study requirements.
• Lead weekly patient review calls with CRCs; manage adverse events and dose modifications with investigators.
