Job summary

Virginia Cancer Specialists in Fairfax is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Research Coordinator to join our oncology research team. A bachelor’s or associate degree in a clinical/scientific field is preferred, with at least three years of related experience.

SOCRA/ACRP certification is a plus. The role involves screening patients, obtaining informed consent, enrolling on trials, and coordinating care under protocol.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a clinical or scientific role, preferably oncology.
• SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred.
• Experience with clinical trials and regulatory documentation is expected.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for eligibility with physicians and other providers.
• Present trial concepts, obtain informed consent, and enroll patients.
• Coordinate patient care per protocol and dispense investigational drug.
• Maintain investigational drug accountability and document findings.
• Review billing guides and submit billing information.
• Support subject recruitment strategies and facilitate retention in trials.
• Assist with regulatory documents and staff training.
