Job summary

Vitalief is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team as a full-time employee supporting Phase II-IV oncology interventional trials at a community hospital site in Newark, NJ. This role is ideal for someone with 6–12 months of coordination experience and a desire to grow in oncology research.

You will thrive in a collaborative, small-team environment and contribute to successful delivery of high-quality clinical trials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health science, life science, nursing, or a related field.
6–12 months of clinical research coordination experience for interventional Phase II-IV trials.
Oncology experience is a plus but not required.
Experience with patient identification, consent, enrollment, regulatory compliance, and data management.
Ability to manage multiple studies with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Support Phase II-IV oncology trials, including pharma-sponsored, ECOG, and investigator-initiated studies.
Manage trials across multiple oncology disease groups (GYN, Breast, GI/GU, Head & Neck, Lung).
Oversee 15–20 active trials in a fast-paced environment.
Identify and screen potential study participants using physician schedules and reports.
Obtain informed consent and enroll eligible patients per protocol and regulatory standards.
