Job summary

Vitalief seeks an experienced Clinical Research Program Manager to oversee Phase II–IV oncology trials at a premier research center in Somerset, NJ. You will manage multi-site operations, protocol implementation, enrollments, data collection, and regulatory compliance.

In a fast-paced environment, you will lead a small team, mentor staff, drive process improvements, partner with investigators and leadership, and ensure delivery of complex trials on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Public Health, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of oncology clinical research experience, including trials management.
• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience within a clinical research environment.
• RN preferred; experience in academic medical centers or cancer centers is advantageous.
• Knowledge of oncology trial operations and regulatory standards (GCP, FDA, OHRP, NIH, HIPAA, IRB).
• Strong leadership, mentoring abilities, and capability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily oncology clinical research operations across two locations.
• Oversee protocol implementation, study activation, enrollment, data collection, and workflows.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a small clinical research team.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, FDA, OHRP, NIH, HIPAA, and IRB requirements.
• Oversee regulatory submissions, documentation, and reporting of deviations.
• Develop corrective and preventive action plans for continuous improvement.
• Partner with investigators, leadership, and stakeholders to support goals.
• Participate in planning, resource management, and process improvements.
