Job summary

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a McKesson subsidiary, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator for Blood Cancer and BMT to oversee the clinical operations of the cancer research program, including enrollment, regulatory, quality, and site operations.

You will support enrolling patients onto trials, review designs with physicians, ensure informed consent, manage data entry, and monitor data integrity across study CRFs and EDC systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor's preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and research terminology.
• Knowledge of FDA CFR and GCP.
• Knowledge of the clinical research processes.
• Public presentation and multitasking skills; oncology/hematology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enroll patients onto clinical trials through recruitment, screening, enrollment, treatment, and follow-up per protocol requirements.
• Review the study design and inclusion/exclusion criteria with physicians and patients.
• Ensure protection of study patients by verifying informed consent procedures and adhering to protocol requirements.
• Collect, complete, and enter data into study CRFs or electronic data capture systems within required timelines.
• Ensure data integrity by source document review and monitoring data for missing or implausible data.
• Create study-specific tools for source documentation when not provided by sponsor.
• Generate and track drug shipments, lab kits, and other supplies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of protocol requirements according to SOPs.
• Track and report adverse events and deviations.
• Maintain records including regulatory documents, signed consent forms, source documentation, drug dispensing logs, and study communications.
• Coordinate regular site research meetings.
• Attend study-specific meetings with monitors and site staff to ensure data quality.
• Communicate site status through a weekly activity report.
