Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in a related field.
• Five years nursing experience with at least 2 years in management.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Current NC RN licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of designated employees to meet CSU/Departmental, Hospital and Health System objectives related to patient care.
• Develop strategic and operational plan for assigned clinical area and communicate plans.
• Lead unit care delivery models and refine them.
• Serve as clinical operational liaison with admin and professional staff on policies, budgeting and personnel administration.
• Maintain interface with departmental personnel to coordinate clinical operational activities and budgeting.
• Ensure safe environment of care and staff development; promote staff retention.
