Job summary

American Oncology Management Company is seeking an RN leader to oversee clinical care across multiple sites. You will manage a team of nurses, medical assistants, and technicians, ensuring high quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an RN license, oncology certification, and at least five years in healthcare with some management experience. Travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of employment.
• Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Oncology Nurse certification (OCN) required within 1 year.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
• Five (5) years of experience in the healthcare field in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Three (3) years of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and evaluates the overall clinical care and functions.
• Oversees the activities of the clinical areas and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the clinical team that includes nurses, medical assistants (if applicable), and pharmacy technician(s).
• Assesses, monitors, and educates all clinical staff on patient care.
• Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
• Assures compliance with all standard operating procedures and regulations to the assigned areas.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
