Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina is required; eNLC may apply.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification must be obtained within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborate with staff and managers to promote teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Support nursing strategies to improve staff engagement and rounds initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selection, and training of new staff; participate in performance evaluations and actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
