Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN for the GU Oncology Office Practice. You will coordinate complex clinical care, develop care pathways, and collaborate with patients, families, and multiple departments in a fast-paced NY setting.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, NYS licensure, and 2 years of oncology experience. Master’s degree is preferred, with BCLS certification also required. This is a full-time day shift position at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; Master's degree preferred.
• 2 years Oncology experience required.
• Current NYS nurse licensure required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical care within a designated specialty.
• Establish and implement short and long-term goals and policies.
• Organize and lead day-to-day patient care coordination.
• Provide consultation and education to the interdisciplinary team.
• Promote an interdisciplinary approach to patient care delivery.
• Serve as a resource for patients and their families.
• Advocate for patients using the Patient Bill of Rights.
• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of nursing standards.
• Maintain leadership competency through continuing education.
