Job summary

Minnesota Oncology in Bloomington is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients in an oncology setting under minimal supervision.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, assess and manage patient needs, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards. The role emphasizes patient education, psychosocial support, and coordination of care across services, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and RN license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Five years nursing experience with oncology/outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care.
• Assess health status by interviewing patient and medical history.
• Collect nursing assessment and interventions.
• Review results and report health status, labs, imaging to provider.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching.
• Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Maintain work environment and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical team and mentor staff.
