Job summary

Minnesota Oncology is seeking a qualified oncology nurse to join our team across Chaska, Waconia, Edina and Burnsville clinics. You will provide professional nursing care, administer therapies, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

We value commitment to safety, compliance with the US Oncology Code of Ethics, and ongoing professional development. RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in practicing state
• 3+ years nursing experience, oncology preferred
• BLS certification and ongoing CE requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care adhering to national and company standards in oncology/hematology settings.
• Administer therapies under physician direction.
• Administer medications and blood products with correct dosing and administration routes.
• Obtain pre-authorization and relevant consent forms as needed.
• Modify doses with physician input and monitor for adverse effects.
• Perform venipuncture and access implanted ports; manage central lines.
• Document all patient care and treatments accurately.
• Operate portable infusion pumps and instruct patients/caregivers on use.
• Maintain equipment and restock supplies; follow OSHA and disinfection protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and oncology nursing knowledge.
