Oncology Consultants - Corpus Christi is seeking a Medical Assistant/Lab Support to assist physicians with office procedures, phlebotomy, and lab testing. You will perform quality control, handle specimens, and document results in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform proper quality control procedures before patient testing.
• Carry out laboratory blood work and venipuncture as needed.
• Prepare slides and handle specimens per lab protocols.
• Document test results and maintain logs and records.
• Assist physicians with procedures and coordinate outside testing as required.
• Maintain inventory and ensure instrument downtime procedures are followed.
