Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an Oncology RN for a 13-week assignment. The role involves direct and indirect chemotherapy patient care, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe, effective treatments.

The nurse must have 1+ year acute care or medical/surgical nursing experience, an Oregon RN license, and BLS plus ONS Chemotherapy credentials. Expect administrative duties, teaching, triage, and adherence to policies in a fast-paced oncology unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care or medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
• BLS certification and ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card are required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor chemotherapy as prescribed.
• Communicate changes in patient status with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Provide teaching, counseling, and support to patients and families.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and Plan of Care on admission.
• Perform duties consistent with infection control and patient confidentiality.
