MultiCare Cancer Institute, part of MultiCare Health System in Washington, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join the physician/APP office team. The MA-C will support clinicians, handle patient intake, and ensure safe, accurate clinical workflows across the cancer care continuum.

Responsibilities include patient interviews, vital signs, specimen collection, medication administration per WA DOH rules, and coordinating referrals with front office staff.

Qualificações

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) required or active MA-C credential.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff.
• Interviewing patients to obtain medical history and current concerns.
• Obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for exams or treatments.
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administration of medications in accordance with Washington State DOH regulations and competency.
• Relaying instructions and information to patients and their families/caregivers.
