Oncology Clinical Nurse Coordinator provides compassionate, evidence-based cancer care within a Healthcare & Medical Services setting. This role coordinates treatment plans, educates patients and families, and ensures safe transitions of care across the continuum.

The coordinator collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, while mentoring nursing staff to maintain high-quality care and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Registered Nurse with oncology clinical coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based oncology care and treatment management.
• Exceptional patient and family education, communication, and empathy.
• Ability to lead through collaboration in a patient-centered environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated mentoring and staff support capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee oncology treatment plans and patient care delivery.
• Administer prescribed therapies and ensure care aligns with clinical standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, symptom management, and care expectations.
• Support safe transitions of care across the continuum.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Mentor and support nursing staff to promote consistent, high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement and process-improvement initiatives.
