Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Illinois or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Board certification by 12/31/2015 or within two years of hire.
• BSN or higher education as required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in direct patient care to promote positive clinical outcomes and documents in the EMR.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients with cancer-related health concerns.
• Assist physicians with clinic visits and procedures as needed.
• Educate patients about prevention, diagnosis, tests, treatment options and follow-up care.
• Coordinate testing and expedite results reporting in the EMR per department standards.
