Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks a RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Surgical Oncology. The role blends outpatient clinic support with administrative care coordination, ensuring seamless surgery scheduling and patient communication.

It is frontline behind-the-scenes work, not bedside nursing. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with no weekends or call. A hybrid option allows one remote day per week after six months, supporting oncology patients throughout the care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with two years of nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in MO/IL per location and Compact Act.
• BLS certification required or obtained within one month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care, orders, and referrals.
• Assist physicians and support examinations and procedures.
• Maintain communications between patients, families and health team.
