Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Bone Marrow Transplant/Leukemia Clinical Coordinator who is an experienced RN with oncology specialization. The role combines practitioner, educator, leader, and researcher responsibilities to oversee BMT/Leukemia patient care and education across the medical center.

The position requires NJ RN licensure, MSN or related master’s degree, BLS/CPR, and oncology nursing experience. ACLS is preferred; a national certification in clinical practice is also valued.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN License in the State of New Jersey.
• MSN or Master’s Degree in a health-related field.
• BLS/CPR Certification by American Heart Association.
• Oncology BMT/Leukemia nursing experience.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS/HCP) Certification.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification.
• ACLS preferred.
• National certification in clinical practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Motivate self and others to deliver and maintain patient care aligned with Hackensack Meridian Health's mission and values.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise and uses evidence-based assessment to guide interventions.
• Serves as a clinical resource, mentoring staff and ensuring adherence to standards.
• Coordinates development of evidence-based practice protocols and standards of care.
• Identifies educational needs and develops teaching materials for patients, families, and staff.
• Plans, delivers, and evaluates Leukemia and BMT focused education across the medical center.
• Assists in developing education programs and serves as a resource across the continuum.
