Job summary

AbbVie Oncology Discovery seeks a highly motivated biologist to join our cancer research team. The Scientist I will contribute to discovering novel cancer-targeting strategies and develop platform technologies for biologics-based anti-cancer drugs in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment.

You will design and perform in vitro assays, analyze data, and communicate results to project teams, while collaborating with colleagues across biology, chemistry, and translational sciences to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees with hands-on lab experience.
• Experience in standard biochemistry, cell biology, and immunology techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis software tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert and apply lab techniques.
• Develop new in vitro assays for oncology discovery programs.
• Design, conduct, and interpret experiments on biologics-based therapeutics.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot, and document results clearly.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet milestones.
• Collaborate within a matrixed team under senior guidance.
