Job summary

Labcorp in Baltimore, MD invites students to join its 2027 Global Internship Program as a Bioinformatics Intern on the Oncology Team. This 11-week, full-time paid internship runs June 1, 2027 to August 13, 2027 and offers hands-on project work in bioinformatics pipelines, data analysis and software testing.

You will engage with senior leaders, gain exposure to Labcorp's global business and culture, and receive mentoring as you contribute to genomics research and precision oncology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Life Sciences, Data Science, Bioinformatics or Computer Science.
• Interest in oncology, genomics, data science and/or bioinformatics.
• Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support development of bioinformatics pipelines and software
• Execute code updates, data analysis, and software testing
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Familiarize yourself with genomics results for precision oncology
