Job summary

Natera is seeking an Associate Area Medical Director to contribute clinically and develop field medical affairs expertise across a defined U.S. geography.

This 50% field role emphasizes engaging physicians, supporting MSL partnerships, and delivering scientific education under established frameworks and priorities. The position requires board-certified MD/DO in medical oncology or related specialty, with 2–5 years post-training clinical/medical affairs experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or active board eligibility in medical oncology or related clinical specialty.
• 2–5 years of clinical practice or medical affairs experience after training (HM4 level).
• Clinical knowledge across tumor histologies and molecular diagnostics in oncology.
• Ability to communicate clinical data to physician audiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute MD-level field engagements within defined geography (8–12 per quarter).
• Maintain field ride days alongside MSLs and engage top accounts within timelines.
• Support education programs and document exchanges; escalate inquiries when needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with MSLs, leadership, and histology teams; deliver regional insights.
