Job summary

BAS HealthCare is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide value-based care to oncology patients primarily in outpatient settings. The role includes triage, management of cancer patients, and a full-time schedule with opportunities for professional development.

Applicants should have oncology experience and the ability to be licensed in Connecticut. The position offers a supportive team environment and comprehensive training, located in Willimantic, CT.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is required.
• Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing value‑based care to oncology patients primarily in outpatient settings.
• Involved in triage and the full spectrum of outpatient management of cancer patients.
• Participate in acute care consultation services as needed.
