Job summary

University of Miami seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver comprehensive oncology care within the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The APP will examine and treat patients independently, collaborate with the care team, and support disease management, prevention, and survivorship.

Responsibilities include prescribing, ordering tests, and coordinating transitions across care settings. The role requires a Masters degree, Florida licensure as an APP, Hospital Medical Board

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in relevant studies.
• Current licensure to practice as an APP in the State of Florida.
• Must be credentialed to practice by Hospital Medical Board.
• Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced oncology care, independently and with the care team.
• Perform and document comprehensive H&P and age-appropriate assessments.
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Coordinate patient transitions across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to quality improvement.
