Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston is seeking an Oncology Stewardship Pharmacist to manage formulary onboarding of new antineoplastic agents and oversee non-standard use reviews. You’ll collaborate with pharmacy IS teams to build EHR resources and educate staff on best practices.

You will participate in stewardship activities, develop policies for safe drug use, and help promote optimal antineoplastic utilization across DFCI sites. Strong leadership and regulatory oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required and Massachusetts pharmacist license.
• Minimum 5 years clinical pharmacy experience with 4 in oncology; oncology residency preferred.
• Advanced degree related to specialty or board certifications; 20 CE credits/year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding of antineoplastic medications including formulary, IS processes, and staff education.
• Standardize onboarding of new drugs and implement antineoplastic guidelines across DFCI sites.
• Contribute to antineoplastic stewardship through data collection and reporting to stakeholders.
• Build dashboards and databases to support the Antineoplastic Stewardship Program.
• Educate and train pharmacists and staff on safe antineoplastic use.
