Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacist License required.
• 3+ years pharmacist practice experience in a related setting.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and management skills to educate/supervise staff.
• Ability to staff primary ambulatory site(s) and oversee operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacists, technicians, interns, and residents at ambulatory sites.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and quality initiatives.
• Manage medication inventory and workflow at ambulatory locations.
• Provide drug information to physicians, nurses and other staff.
• Check and verify sterile and non-sterile medications.
• Coordinate staff training, evaluations, and performance reviews.
• Lead formulary stewardship and committee activities.
• Maintain competency for sterile product areas and cleanroom practices.
• Ensure readiness with regulatory/accreditation bodies (Joint Commission, CMS, USP).
• Participate in On-Call rotation and departmental initiatives.
