Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
• NCCPA certification for Physician Assistant track or active licensure as appropriate.
• Clinical Nurse Specialist MSN and certification path with state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care for oncology individuals.
• Prescribe therapies per protocol or physician consultation.
• Assist physicians and perform procedures as needed.
• Provide patient and family education and case management.
• Coordinate care and participate in telemedicine where applicable.
• Support staff education and integrate evidence-based practice.
